Jacob Albers ('30, Mesa, AZ) got things started with a line drive base hit to the pullside. A short, compact path to contact allows for strong bat to ball skills.
Ismael Botello ('28, Avondale, AZ) lined a ball the other way for an RBI single. A lanky frame projects well with impact shown at contact already.
Jamisen Farrington ('30, Kingman, AZ) roped a ball into the left field corner for a double. A clean path gets on plane and shows quality extension out front.
Oliver Higgins ('28, Waddell, AZ) showed a strong hit tool, lining a ball into the backside gap for a two-run double. Loose hands control the barrel well with the ability to spray line drives to all fields.
Nate McMahon ('29, Chandler, AZ) found a quality barrel on a double to the left-center field gap. Strong hands at contact and lofted path consistently drive balls in the air with authority. McMahon also ran the fastball up to 72 mph with feel for a slider shown while on the mound.
Mateo Orellana ('29, Corona De Tucson, AZ) pulled a ball through the left side for a base hit. A linear path looks to produce hard hit line drives to the pullside.
Talan Vasquez ('28, Phoenix, AZ) barreled a ball into the left corner for a double and followed it with a single back up the middle later on. A balanced swing shows strong hands at contact with a frame that has plenty of room to add.
Colton Buscher ('29, Conifer, CO) collected his second hit of the game with a ball through the right side for an RBI single. A stronger frame shows the ability to make hard contact frequently.
Noah Laudando ('28, Surprise, AZ) drove a ball well into the left-center field gap for a double. Loose hands create solid bat speed with impact at contact. Laudando also showed two-way ability on the mound, running it up to 75 mph with a late breaking slider to go with it.
Noah Patenaude ('29, San Diego, CA) showed an intriguing mix of present stuff and projection out of the pen. A low effort operation worked with the fastball, pairing with a sweeping, low-60's slider.
