Luke Blackwell is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Valmeyer, IL who attends Valmeyer. Long, lean, athletic frame with room to add. Primary right-handed pitcher, quick arm as the ball jumps and gets on hitters. Short side step into a belt high leg lift and hides it well with a deceptive, inverted arm slot. Slider shows sweep and stays firm at 80/81. Locates the fastball in all-four quadrants and it flashes arm side run, sitting 87/88 and topping out at 89. Great student. Named to 2024 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.
