Brooks Canady is a 2026 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Dothan, AL who attends Providence Christian. Athletic, lean frame with a high waist and plenty of room to physically mature. Recorded a 7.29 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with anticipatory actions into the fielding process. Incorporates deep leg bend to field slightly deep, while using some extra steps to throw. Worked slightly uphill into release and recorded arm strength up to 81 mph across the diamond. Will improve with minor mechanical adjustments in the lower half and additional strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wide base with high, forward hands and big hanging leg lift trigger. Rotational swing mechanics with developing bat-to-ball skills, a slightly downhill swing path and occasional line drive impact when on-time. Will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Fundamentally sound prospect with some quick twitch athleticism and plenty of projection remaining. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
