Leo Antwerpen is a 2026 LHP/1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends Mcdonogh. Medium, athletic build with lean muscle present throughout his frame with tons of physical projection remaining to be added. 8.37-second runner during the sixty. Primary left-handed pitcher, worked with a methodical operation with a hybrid start. Hides the ball well, creating some deception against opposing hitters. Filled up the zone displaying an advanced feel for his repertoire with a strong pitchability. Fastball sat in the 78-81 mph range, topping out at 82 mph with so much more left in the tank. Slider showed sharp, horizontal shape, landing it in various counts, generating some whiffs. Change-up displayed late tumbling action, serving as his go-to against right-handed hitters. A lot to like on the bump with tons of projection left. Secondary first baseman, showcased a strong feel for the position, moving around the bag well. Showcased his strong arm with accurate throws across the diamond, working up to 79 mph from a shorter arm stroke. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance with a high-hand set. Downhill plane with tight, compact hand speed. Used the whole field during his round. Had a tendency to get stuck on his backside, pulling off the ball. Excellent student. Named to Fall East Coast Top Prospect List.
