Chris Hong is a 2026 RHP/C/3B with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Wesley Chapel, FL who attends Wiregrass Ranch. Strong and physical build. Works exclusively from the stretch on the first base side with a belt high leg raise, high 3/4's arm slot, has good direction down the mound and a clean release. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with consistent cutting action, locates his fastball well to both sides of the plate. Curveball was a solid pitch for him with 11/5 depth and some tightness to the spin. Right handed hitter, has a short stride into contact and a short and direct swing, uses his lower half well to generate bat speed, solid pull side line drive contact. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Secondary third baseman on defense, moves well side to side and fields the ball cleanly with a two-hand funnel, solid overall defensive fundamentals. Outstanding student.
