Valentino Pupo is a 2026 SS/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Clewiston, FL who attends Piper. Lean medium build with lots of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.34 in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, moves well side to side and shows athleticism, confident glove actions and fields the ball cleanly. Also worked out in the outfield, step by step actions to and through the ball, clean gather, tends to throw uphill, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in spread stance with a well-timed leg raise trigger, has a loose and whippy swing with some bat speed, showed good barrel control and hit the ball hard to all fields, has hitting tools to continue to develop as he gets stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
