Tyler Hondorp is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-3 188 lb. frame from Pace, FL who attends Pace. Taller physical frame. Ran a 7.72 60-yard dash. 2-way talent that showed fastball/curve on the mound. Loose and repeatable mechanics with a three-quarter slot release. Located heavy low 80's fastballs down in the zone and changed speeds with the short breaking curve with vertical shape. Showed fundamental footwork at first base with the ability to make all the routine plays with an average throwing arm. Hit from an even base with backside rotation to the baseball and some strength in the swing for impact. Swing gets long at times but stays powerful with the leverage and ability to lift out front. Power showed up in games with a long home run to the pull side that was hit into the wind. Definite traits to develop going forward. Named to Main Event Top Prospect List. Very good student.
