Kolton Brogdon is a 2027 SS/RHP/C with a 5-8 133 lb. frame from Patterson, GA who attends Pierce County. Smaller, lean build with athleticism present and projection remaining. Primary shortstop, takes efficient routes to the baseball and moves through it well. Stays light on his feet as he makes quick exchanges before working into a shorter arm path. Showcased a developing ability to adjust arm slots on the run. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 84 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery from the third base side of the rubber. Breaks his hands into a deep arm path before accelerating into a high three-quarters arm angle. Operated out of a comfortable balance point. Worked heavily off of his fastball, which ultimately peaked at 81 mph with spin up to 2054 rpm. Right-handed hitter, starts in an upright and slightly open stance with an even hand set-up. Utilizes a negative toe-tap trigger for timing before working into an uphill bat path. Attempts to generate lift at the point of contact. Lands too wide on occasion and limits full lower-half usage. Produced fairly consistent contact to the middle of the field during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 82 mph. Ran a 7.31 sixty-yard dash. Great student. Named to the 2024 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
