2025 PG Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase (National Showcases Qualifier)
Nathan Trunck is a 2027 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Carmel Christian. Lean young athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. 6.83 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has quick feet and solid side to side range, still cleaning up his transfers, makes accurate throws with good accuracy. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his athleticism and arm strength well, type of player who can play 6 positions on the field with skill and the requisite tools. Right handed hitter, starts from an upright stance with a big hanging leg raise timer, loads his hands low, turns hard with some lift to his swing, has some raw bat speed and can impact the ball, more bat speed to come as he matures physically. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high leg raise start, long stride down the mound with a quick arm and a 3/4's arm slot.. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with some running life. Curveball was sharp and biting at times with 11/5 shape, created some bad swings with the curveball and threw strikes with both pitches. Named to the PG Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
