Christopher Canady is a 2026 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Midlothian, VA who attends Benedictine. Slender high waisted young build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works from a slow paced full hands over the head delivery, long and extended arm action in back leading to a 3/4's arm slot, gets over his front side well and has the ability to repeat and throw strikes at will. Fastball was consistent in the mid-80's with plenty more velocity there as he gets stronger, gets lots of life on his fastball. Threw both a hard slurvy slider and a 12/6 curveball and both were nice pitches for him, has feel for spinning the ball and varying the shape and velocity and tunnels them well. Toyed with hitters with his ability to sequence and change speeds and created lots of swing and miss and uncomfortable swings. Interesting young arm with a high ceiling as he continues to grow. Excellent student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
