Ryan Evans is a 2027 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Sykesville, MD who attends Century. Lean young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 3.99 runner in the thirty. Primary left handed pitcher works from a full windup from the third base side of the rubber. Small step in front into an abbreviated leg lift before working down the mound. Stationary hands at the chest breaking into a full in-line arm path and accelerating through a high three- quarter arm angle. Very quick front side and works side-to-side spinning toward the third base line. Fastball (2011 RPM) peaked at 82 with occasional arm-side run. Slider (1675 RPM) in the upper-60s with indistinct shape. Secondary outfielder with solid fundamentals and fields off to the side with the glove. Short in-line arm path. Also worked out at first base. Plays low and moves well with athleticism and a short arm path. Right-handed hitter starts from a medium base and an in-line stance with a good handset with a quiet trigger. Downhill bat path with good direction into contact. Some feel for pull-side pop. Intriguing player with good upside. Great student.
