Reid Turner is a 2026 C/RHP/MIF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Falls Church, VA who attends Mclean. Lean young build with lots of room to get stronger. Primary catcher on defense, one knee down set up, pretty explosive out of his crouch with lower half quickness, smooth well timed transitions, has some arm strength and is around the bag on his throws, has the tools to continue to develop behind the plate, also worked out in the infield and outfield, looked more comfortable in the outfield with good footwork and some arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a hanging leg raise load, has some barrel wrap to work through, line drive swing plane, works gap to gap with best contact to the opposite gap, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength. Also pitched, works from a semi-stretch delivery, does a nice job of getting into his lower half and down the mound, arm action is short and quick. Fastball worked up to 82 mph with some ride up in the zone. Curveball was a very promising pitch with high level tight spin and late and tight break. Has a chance on the mound if he can grow and get stronger. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
