Peter Hoffman is a 2026 RHP/2B/3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Longer, lean frame with nice projection, wiry strength and some time to add overall physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.28 seconds. Primary position RHP, using a modified full windup from the 1B side of the rubber, small side step to belly high leg lift, high to low back to high rhythm with hands before breaking at the chest into medium inline arm path, breaking the hands at the chest costs him some timing here and there, accelerates through an over-the-top arm angle, strides a touch crossbody that could be a part of his inconsistent release, fastball up to 80 mph with a touch of ride, playing well in the top of the zone, breaker has a chance to be solid average offering with plus spin traits and some depth in the upper-60s to low-70s, competitive prospect on the bump. Secondary infielder, with clean and smooth glove actions securing the ball crisply. Good angles with his feet and medium arm path with strong arm up to 82 mph across the diamond. Similar actions from the outfield with arm showing accurate 84 mph feeds here. RHH working from an even stance with a good handset and smaller hanging leg lift to get going. Gets on plane well and showed juice in the middle of the field. Swings with intent and gets extension to launch. Well rounded skillset with intriguing projection. Outstanding student as well.
