Connor Niemiec is a 2024 RHP with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Westfield, MA who attends Pope Francis. Large, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned nicely throughout with additional room to grow. Ran a 7.94 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, begins with a rock step moving into delivery, measured tempo with a full windup operation; shorter arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, easy life and showed comfort challenging hitters up in the zone while missing some bats. Tight, slurve action on breaker up to 72 mph, shows horizontal action with depth to it and able to generate whiffs with the offering. Comfort mixing and filled the zone well throughout. Very good student.
