Peyton Kozink is a 2026 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Charles E Jordan High School. Nice young athletic build with long limbs and plenty of physical projection. Works from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, has a compact arm stroke that hides the ball well behind his body, uses his lower half very well to create drive and momentum down the mound. Fastball was up to 84 mph and played up in velocity with his deception and with all kinds of late life, gets late arm side run at times and broke a bat with it, will also cut his fastball with intent and the ability to spot it glove side. Hard slider was a very promising pitch with late bite and good shape. Also threw a couple of firm change ups. Has a mature feel for his entire arsenal, just needs an easy to project bump in strength/velocity to take the next step. Very good athlete, ran a 6.68 in the sixty. Plays the infield when not on the mound, works low to the ground and fields the ball cleanly, plays light on his feet and can make plays on the run and change his slots well. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a small hanging leg raise trigger, busy hand load, swings hard and creates bat speed and some back spin, has plenty of power that showed up both in batting practice and in the games. Two-way prospect potential. Outstanding student. Named to the Sunshine Mid-Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
