2022 Great Lakes Prospect Showcase
AJ Price is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Neenah, WI who attends Neenah. Long and lean athletic build, plenty of physical projection left. Has nice directional mechanics on the mound that he repeats well, arm is quick and loose with good extension out front. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with good life to it, plenty more velocity there as he gets stronger. Curveball was a nice pitch with nice tight spin and good sweeping depth, doubled up on his breaking ball at times. Filled up the zone with both pitches and had a nice outing. 7.26 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound and showed good athleticism there and makes accurate throws with good carry. Left handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a busy hand load, collapses his back side and creates some uphill plane, contact to all fields. Very good student. Named to the Great Lakes Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
