Grayson Shield is a 2026 OF/LHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Gloucester, VA who attends Gloucester. Medium frame with dense muscularity and explosive fast twitch actions across the board. Ran the 60 yard dash in an impressive 6.64 seconds. Primary position outfielder, moving to the ball well and showing first step quickness. Firm actions to the ball using one hand gather to the side and squaring up well as he transfers at the midline. Full arm path in the back accelerating through a lower arm angle producing accurate one-hop feeds back to bags up to 76 mph here. LHH working from an even stance and quiet overall operation. Good handset as they work well to deliver the bat head with a direct path to impact. Solid bat speed is present as he peppered low, line drives mostly up the middle. Will learn to get on plane and access his power potential as he moves up the line in his career. Exciting speed oriented skillset here and an elite performer in the classroom.
