Lucas Wirth is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Mequon, WI, who attends Homestead. A medium frame with a more lean and slender build. Room to keep filling out moving forward. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. He's a primary shortstop who worked out on the infield, He had athletic footwork with quiet feet and good speed working to the ball. He had a good release with a shorter arm action, working across the diamond with some accuracy. He threw 76 mph during the round of infield drills and had a good feel working through the ball. A right-handed hitter with a spread and open stance, with bent knees. He had higher set hands deeper in his stance, with the back elbow up. He had good bat speed through contact, using a leg lift trigger to get on time with pitches. He was often able to meet the ball out front and work pull-side during his round of BP swings. He had some good impacts with the ability to lift the ball, showing good contact, including some well-struck line drives. Budding actions in the box with a good round of BP. Produced an 83 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. He took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a higher-set waist, working from the middle of the rubber. He has a higher and swinging leg lift up about chest-high. He had a medium arm action working into his release from a three-quarters slot. He works in-line with the plate with a quick arm through release. He had some plunge in the back. The fastball is straight, working 77-78 mph. He showed a curveball at 70 mph with 11-5 shape to it, showing shorter break to it. The pitch could miss a few barrels. Great student.
