Carter Thibodeaux is a 2028 C/RHP/OF with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends Westminster Christian Academy. Recorded a 7.42 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame. Primary catcher works from a one-knee stance with an around the mid-line transfer and has arm strength. Secondary outfielder that fields off to the side with some carry on throws from a three- quarter arm slot. Also threw on the mound. The right-handed pitcher works from a hybrid windup with a small heel turn into an around-the-belt leg lift and a medium, in-line stride down the bump. The hands start at the face and drop to the belt before rising back up to the letters and separating into a compact takeaway as it accelerates through from a three- quarter arm angle. Some arm speed and whip as the arm comes through. The fastball (1978 RPM) was upper-70s to low-80s and topped out at 82 with some arm-side spin to it. The curveball (1927 RPM) was upper-60s and had 12-6 shape and some horizontal side-spin. Letting the mix work in the zone consistently. Left-handed hitter starts from a medium stance with tight hands with a flat barrel over the shoulder. Works inside the ball to find the barrel. Added a knock during the game action. Exciting player with some two-way upside and feel to let hitters get themselves out. Good student.
