Alex Perez is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from East Stroudsburg, PA who attends East Stroudsburg South. Works from a larger frame with physical strength present. Primary left-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch, starts with the hands at the belt, lifts the leg up to the chest, slight tilt at the top of the delivery, hides the ball well, releases from a high three-quarters slot, pounded the inner-third of the zone with the fastball, topped it out at 83 mph, flashed a sweeping curveball with late movement to disrupt hitters’ timing. Secondary first baseman, stays fairly low to the ground, shows the glove early, displayed smooth glove actions and a compact arm action, releases from a lower slot, delivered accurate throws, recorded arm strength up to 81 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, starts with a low hand set-up, utilizes a leg lift trigger, shifts the weight well, has some present strength in the hands, creates carry on the baseball, recorded an exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.80 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 13u/14u Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
