Tony Martinez is a 2024 3B/UT with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach. Medium size frame with present strength. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Third baseman with quick feet and reactions, footwork to get to a fundamental fielding position and showed softer hands, moves well laterally and on the slow roller showing plenty of athleticism. Quick release with solid average arm strength and accuracy across the diamond. Hit from a wide base with leg lift timing, in sync swings getting on time and directly to the baseball with a level bat path and control of the barrel. Present bat speed and plenty of strength to drive the baseball gap to gap. Real blend of hit and power potential to the corner infield profile. Got to the barrel multiple times in games. Named to West Academic Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
