2024 Mid-South High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Micah Purdom is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Franklin, TN who attends Christ Presbyterian Academy. Purdom ran a 7.02 sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder with a medium lean athletic frame with easy room for additional strength. Micah showed clean footwork coming through the ball in the outfield with some aggression showing a quick one handed gather into a higher 3/4s arm action with in line throws and some cary. Left handed hitter with a balanced even foot stance with a slight toe tap trigger showing the ability to control the barrel through the zone and drive the ball hard on a line to all fields. On the mound the left hander presented a fastball that peaked at 81mph with some late arm side run to it. Purdom mixed in a tight Slider with late horizontal action that he was able to put in the one in any count. The operation was easy with very repeatable movements some deception throughout.
