Andres Acurero is a 2026 SS with a 5-3 121 lb. frame from Mooresville, NC who attends Lake Norman. Compact, wiry build. Ran a 7.32 in the sixty. Primary infielder, sound actions that popped up. Sound footwork up the middle, quick and nimble feet and soft hands on display. Good arm strength from a shorter slot. Accurate and the actions showed up. Switch hitter, low hand set with hanging leg trigger. Creates length and showed some feel the other way. Good swing mechanics and works it out front. Good feel both ways and defensive ability shows. Very good student.
