Hunter Haase is a 2025 RHP/C, 2B, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from La Mesa, CA who attends Steele Canyon. Primary right-handed pitcher, features an athletic, projectable frame with strength throughout and room to still add. Stretch only operation with a drop and drive delivery. Quick arm throwing out of a three-quarter arm slot with short arm action. Shows good intent down the mound, creating extension to the plate. Fastball topped out at 86 with arm side run, attacking the zone throughout his outing. Slider sat 70-72 with tilt and quality depth, tunnels it well off the fastball. Secondary middle infielder with quick feet and feel for the leather. Showed the ability to funnel with a clean glove, quick transfer and a quick arm across, throwing out of multiple arm slots accurately. Wide base at the plate with a closed stance. Hands start back and work on a direct path to the baseball. Developing bat speed with some strength in the hands and feel for the barrel. Ran a 7.38 sixty-yard dash. Excellent Student.
