Camron James is a 2024 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Chattanooga, TN who attends Howard HS. Smaller athletic build with room to get stronger. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, is light on his feet and is athletic on the move, charges the ball well, some arm strength when on top of the ball but profiles best at second base. Also worked out in the outfield and was solid there, makes accurate throws with good carry, aggressive to the ball, will have plenty of range. Versatile defensive player. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with a toe tap close, busy hand load to start his swing, solid high contact swing approach with good barrel control, hits to all fields. Also pitched, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot and gets downhill well for his size. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, also threw a 12/6 downer curveball with some spin. Named to the Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
