Brayden Grass is a 2024 RHP with a 6-1 193 lb. frame from Hanna, IN who attends South Central. Large frame with solid, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Righthanded pitcher, threw well in this event. Starts closed off, high leg kick into good hip direction down the slope, lower slot release with some deception, loose arm, fastball worked 83-86 mph with heavy arm side life, ball jumps out of his hand, showed changeup with good velocity differential and deception out of the hand, flashed a slider with some bite and mostly horizontal break, punched out 5 in 3 innings and held his stuff the whole way, dominant outing in this event. Named to 2023 Main Event Uncommitted Top Prospect List, very good student.
