Abraham Samuel Fortis Osorio is a 2024 SS/RHP/C with a 6-1 188 lb. frame from Conyers, GA who attends Premier Prospects Academy. Large frame with athletic, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Hits from narrow-based stance with hands set tight, simple and repeatable load and launch, quick hands with good bat speed, gets barrel out front consistently, solid hitting tools. Primary shortstop, flashes range with good athleticism, developing footwork, hands work out front with inconsistent glovework to either side, clocked up to 85 mph on throws across with inconsistent feel for the target. Also threw 87 mph from the outfield. Pitched as well, releases from lower 3/4 slot with big life on fastball that worked in 79-85 mph range, loose arm with arm speed and projection, flashed slider with good tilt and slower curveball. Very good student, named to 2023 Main Event Uncommitted Top Prospect List.
