Joe Goodman is a 2011 RHP/3B with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Ames, IA who attends Gilbert HS. Compact mature build, some present strength. Big rock back/side step delivery, big leg raise, gets back turned, deep arm circle, creates deception, repeats surprisingly well. Mid 80's fastball, touched 87 mph frequently, mostly straight. Curveball best pitch, true curveball shape at 78 mph, best at 75-76 mph, quality spin at times, sharp and big, developing change up. Pitches around the plate, has an idea, can pitch at the next level.
