David Ernst is a 2011 RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Fargo, ND who attends Fargo South HS. Square shouldered athletic build, young look. Tall delivery with high compact arm circle, stays on line and closed, quick arm coming through. Upper 80's fastball topped at 89 mph, mostly straight. Nice sharp break to hard curveball, big sweeping break at times, has some feel for change up. Tries to work down in zone, has an idea how to pitch. Very good talent/skills for young North Dakota prospect and will get better. Good student.
