Blake Louscher is a 2011 LHP with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from Mason City, IA who attends Newman Catholic HS. Very nice pitcher's build, long with good present strength. On line leg raise delivery, over the top slot, leans off on release, soft front side, tends to open early. Fastball topped at 82 mph, mostly straight, curveball best pitch, big downer shape with hard spin, throws strikes with both pitches, didn't see change up. Compact arm in back, loose and easy out front. Move velocity in there with adjustments, have seen 84 mph earlier this year. Outstanding student.
