Trent Franson is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Lutheran South Academy HS. Medium compact build with good present strength and physical maturity for his age. Right handed hitter, balanced stance with good weight transfer and simple repeatable swing mechanics, polished hitter, has the strength to drive the gaps, showed the game ability to square the ball up to different fields and recognized pitches and adjust. 7.21 runner, smooth fielder who has some athletic bounce, best when he's moving through the ball, solid game arm strength with carry, quick release, tends to stay back on balls at shortstop, may profile best as an offensive second or third baseman. Polished mature player who like to play and plays hard. Excellent student.
