Cole Kelly is a 2015 SS/RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Fort Bend Austin HS. Large, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, shows nice lateral range to either side and nice strength off back foot when in the hole. Good carry on throws across, fields the ball out front with soft hands, makes the off balance play when charging in. Right-handed hitter, starts with a still stance before shifting into contact and a slight wrap at top. Shows a good knowledge of the strike zone, good bat speed coming through the zone with leverage and a short path to the ball. Creates nice extension out front with line drive contact to the middle of the field. Excellent student. Named to South Underclass Top Prospect List.
