Matthew Kassowitz is a 2015 C/3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Santa Monica. Large, athletic frame with present strength and room to fill out. Ran a 7.19 60 yard dash. Shows athleticism behind the plate, receives the ball out front. Mechanics are a bit raw but has big arm strength and very good carry. Throws run on him, needs to get on top of ball. Right-handed batter who starts with a high hand set and an upright stance with a slightly open base. Big leg kick trigger followed by long stride, loads up on back leg before driving to the pitch. Long, aggressive swing with good bat speed. Live bat, flashed present power, makes contact out front. More power to come.
