Jaylyn Whitehead is a 2015 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-0 152 lb. frame from Ocoee, FL who attends Olympia. Taller, thin build with a lot of room to fill out. Ran a 7.03 60 yard dash. Shows good athleticism. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and reaches 81 mph with his fastball. Shows good arm speed and has a long, clean arm action. Repeats his delivery consistently. Also mixes a slow curveball with 11-5 rotation at 62 mph. Flashes a changeup as well with good running action. Also swung the bat, uses a small leg lift and has quick hands on the inner half. Looks to pull the ball and shows good bat speed. Produces line drives. Moves well at first base and hands work well. Very good student.
