Kyle Finkenstaedt is a 2015 SS/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Langham Creek HS. Large, athletic build with a lean, projectable frame and room to fill out. Strong runner, posted a 6.68 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, works through backhand well, moves well on feet, stays in control of body, easy arm action with carry and strength that will continue to develop, accurate from multiple arm slots. Fields the ball out front in the outfield, long transfer, shows strength with carry and accuracy on throws. Switch hitter, starts with an upright stance from the left side with hands close to body. Loose swing with solid bat speed and projects for more, creates extension out front with a nice feel for the barrel. Short and compact swing from the right side, hands stay close to the body, solid fundamentals and barrel control with nice bat speed. Named to South Uncommitted Top Prospect List. Very good student.
