Nolan Schanuel is a 2020 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Boynton Beach, FL who attends Park Vista Community. Big body with a long torso, long arms with an ease to all movements. Primary outfielder, long strides that cover ground easily, breaks down well and fields slightly to the side, repeats transfer and uses a simple crow hop he repeats well. Arm works easily with lots of carry and showed accuracy to all bases. 89 arm strength in Miami and was shown 93 in the past. Left-handed hitter with a high hand set, toe tap and weight shift to load, turns and stays connected exceptionally well, using great torque in his process. Ability to make subtle hand adjustments mid swing, uses an all field approach in game. Ball flies off barrel, plenty of power projection as he lifts more regularly. Can contort well with good whip in hands to adjust and make hard contact. Highest level hitting prospect. Very good student. FAU commit.
