Jacob Alexander is a 2015 C/UT with a 6-0 215 lb. frame from Temple, TX who attends Belton HS. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, physical build. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows a quick transfer and release with a compact arm action, nice arm strength down to second base, stands tall at release, accurate throws down. Right-handed hitter, shows a patient approach at the plate. Starts with a high hand set, creates nice leverage and bat speed. Length to swing but shows ability to turn on the inside pitch with strength and create hard pull side contact. Good student.
