Christian Rodriguez is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-3 230 lb. frame from Hialeah, FL who attends Mater Academy Charter. Big and thick build with good present strength. Multi-part delivery with a fast pace and some deception to the hitter, can use his strong lower half better in helping generate velocity, tends to rush through his balance point. Low 80's fastball, topped out 83 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side run. Tends to slow his arm on a slow 11/5 curveball and a cutting change up. Has shown significantly more velocity at past Perfect Game events and is a LaSalle signee. Good student.
