Aidan Katzman is a 2023 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-9 148 lb. frame from Huntington Bay, NY who attends Chaminade. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders an da lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 6.88 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front, utilizes an extra step moving into release, strides online and repeats actions, quickness to arm with a higher release point, loose arm and projects well moving forward. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Stays short to the ball and shows quickness to the barrel coming through the zone. Comfort working to the middle of the field, looks to lift at times, shows a consistent handle for the barrel, projects with added strength. Very good student.
