Randall Carver is a 2020 3B/RHP, C, 1B, 2B, OF with a 6-4 205 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Smithson Valley. Ran a 7.12 second sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with a tall frame and strong build. Has developing quickness to the feet, staying back with long strides to the ball. Has a deeper funnel in, making throws across the diamond with present arm strength up to 83 miles per hour. Shows some present bat speed at the plate, with a high hand set and hips that fire well through contact. Works almost exclusively to the pull-side with a downhill path to contact at times, and the swing played well in game action with multiple hard-hit balls. Also pitched, working exclusively from the stretch with a high leg lift. Has a short arm action with a low elbow, and releases from an over the top slot. Gets some good, downward plane to the fastball at 80-84 miles per hour, and shows feel to spin a curveball with 11-5 shape and loose spin at 69 miles per hour. Excellent student. Named to 2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase, Top Prospect List.
