Mason Balsis is a 2022 C/OF with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Bristow, VA who attends Patriot. He ran a 7.38 second sixty. A primary catcher with a large physical build. He starts with a square stance behind the plate, he does a nice job replacing his feet during the transfer with a strong arm on his throws to second base, he tends to get tall in the throwing position and get out of his legs but is strong arm makes up for it with a 1.96 second pop time. Right-handed hitter, has a lot of strength at the point of contact with a relatively easy swing, the hands control the swing but he can still turn and burn down the line when needed, posted a 88 mph exit velocity. Verbal commitment to Middle Tennessee State. Named to the 2020 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
