Eduardo Balboa is a 2023 3B/RHP, C, SS with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Weslaco, TX who attends Clark. Large and physically advanced frame with more room to continue to fill out. Ran a 7.18 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the baseball out in front with nimble feet, can throw from multiple arm angles with a full arm action and plenty of arm strength, topped out at 85 mph across the diamond, actions play best at his primary third baseman position. Secondary righthanded pitcher, takes a side step up to a balanced delivery, online, takes a long arm action with whip to his arm and good arm speed at take back, high 3/4 arm slot release, creates heaviness to his fastball with sinking action at times up to 87 mph, tight curveball with 12-6 shape mixed in as well. Righthanded hitter, open stance with a large stride into contact, hands and lower half work ideally into his swing, strong swing with leverage and raw bat speed, displayed impressive power to his pull side during batting practice. Named to 2019 14U National Showcase Top Prospect List.
