Samuel Davis is a 2027 SS/RHP, MIF, IF, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends Ums-Wright Preparatory. Lengthy athletic frame with lean levers, can add plenty in terms of muscle and additional height over the course of the coming years. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, gets the glove down early, clean funnel out front, under control throws with accuracy and some zip, solid actions here that project nicely long term. Secondary right-handed pitcher, good mover down slope, quick arm, lands hard on front side, full delivery, small step into short lift, loose arm action, higher release, doesn't slow arm down on the breaking stuff, really solid overall. Took reps in the outfield, fundamentally sound actions here, quick arm with good carry on throws, has solid feel for the spot. Right-handed hitter, narrow base, upright, high hands, high back elbow, small stride out, athletic overall, good path on it, loose and in control. Athletic build that projects nicely right now, solid swing and should continue to hit down the line. Named to the 13U/14U Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
