Owen Geiger is a 2023 RHP/C with a 6-3 205 lb. frame from Atoka, TN who attends Munford. Recorded a 7.43 second 60 yard dash time. Right-handed pitcher with a short, tight arm action and a compact three-quarters slot. Creates an offline arm action and falls onto a stiff front side. Showed a curveball at 72 mph with 11-5 shape. Was able to land the curveball for strikes in game. Generated some swings and misses on his fastball and induced soft contact during his outing. Topped at 87 mph with some effort on the release. Will continue to increase velocity as he uses his lower half more actively. Right-handed hitter with a back tap load and a low hand path. Flashed power to the pull side when he got extended and squared the ball up. Exciting projection and frame from a young prospect. Excellent student. Named to the 2020 Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.
