Patrick White is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Leawood, KS who attends Blue Valley Northwest. Recorded a 7.48 second 60 yard dash time. Long and slender build that projects well moving forward. Primary outfielder, fields it off to the side and throws across his body from a lower slot. Hands work well when fielding, the arm action is long and stiff, he tends to cut off the throwing motion and not get extended. Will improve carry and accuracy on his throws as he smooths out the arm action and stays directional. Secondary left-handed pitcher that throws from a three-quarters slot, utilizes a short stride in his delivery and has limited extension. The fastball has some tail and sink when down in the zone, struggled with command/control at times. Flashed a curveball that had 1-7 shape and some depth to it. Left-handed hitter with a wide base and slightly open stance, utilizes a high hand set and a toe tap trigger. Does a great job of utilizing the lower half in his swing which allowed him to produce loud contact on multiple swings during BP and in live at bats. Quiet stride and approach, has plenty of loft in the bat path. Good student.
