Brock Rein is a 2026 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Starrs Mill. Long and slender build, has done a nice job filling out and getting stronger over the last year and has more to go. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread straight stance, loads well to his back side to start, good shift in, has big whippy bat speed, ball exploded off the barrel, 100+ mph exit velos in BP, can drive both gaps, still really projects offensively. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has confident hands and works through the ball well, more balance/athletic than quick but gets to balls, plenty of arm strength. Also worked out in the outfield, gets rid of the ball quickly with infielder's actions, short and quick arm action. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch with a high knee raise start, full arm path to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball sat comfortably in the mid-80's and topped out at 87 mph, has good arm side lift at times, also flashed a hard curveball with some depth to it. Has two-way potential on the mound. Very good student, verbal commitment to Georgia.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
