2024 Sophomore National Showcase (2027 Grads)
Blake Lundy is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Ooltewah, TN who attends Baylor. Extra big and strong build. 7.17 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a one knee down stance, gains ground well when throwing, compact exchange but a longer arm action, outstanding raw arm strength with plus carry through the bag, staying athletic enough at his size to stay behind the plate will be key but he's plenty athletic enough now and the arm is a separator. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance with a high hand load and a hanging from foot trigger, has easy bat speed, big strength and impact, ball comes off hard to the pull side, can get over extended at times but can make explosive contact when he stays back. Very advanced physical tools and strength. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
