Jacob Horwitz is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Lower Merion, PA who attends The Haverford School. Medium build with good present strength. Works from the stretch with a coiled delivery over the rubber and a short stride out front, repeats his mechanics well and fills up the strike zone. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, gets some running life at the higher velocities, cuts his fastball with intent in the low 80's, lives at the bottom of the zone and can spot his fastball. Threw a bigger sweeping slider off his cutter that was an effective pitch. Didn't see a change up but would complete the package. Good student. Named to the PG Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
