Ethan Wheeler is a 2026 RHP/UT with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Middleburg, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Long and loose build, very projectable physically. Pretty easy operation on the mound, stays calm and well paced, stays on line well, high 3/4's arm slot with a clean arm swing in back. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, lots more there as he gets stronger, gets some sink on his fastball and was consistently down in the zone. Works between a curveball and a slider for his breaking ball, slider has nice tightness with a smaller break, nice spin on the curveball as well. Nice overall athlete who showed off his tools as a position player as well. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a low hand start, has a level swing with some pull side juice, projects power. Showed his arm strength well from the infield and outfield in drills. 7.50 runner in the sixty. High ceiling athlete on the mound. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Florida.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
