He showed some bat speed and competes well. He would fit well in a college line-up in the two-hole with his bat control. In the field Poch simply played great. He has feel and made all his plays, the routine ones and the tough ones, taking good angles to the ball and playing under control. His hands are soft and he has a good infield arm, throwing from a good slot that allows him to throw from different angles. Poch played well at all the infield spots and turned the double play well. On the mound Poch pitched in the 83-85 mph range and mixed in a 75 mph slider. He is a competitor no matter where he is on the field and will make a good D1 player.
